Dr. K. Ravishankar, M.D. is Consultant in-charge of 'The Headache and Migraine Clinics' at Jaslok Hospital and Research Centre and Lilavati Hospital and Research Centre, Mumbai.

After his initial grounding in Neurology with Dr. N. H. Wadia, he went on to train further in Headache Medicine, first with Dr. Ninan Mathew at The Houston Headache Clinic and then with Drs. Marcia Wilkinson and Dr. J. N. Blau at the The City of London Migraine Clinic.

He is a member of The International Headache Society, The American Headache Society and The Asian Headache Foundation. He has presented papers at national and international headache meetings and was the Organising Convenor of ‘The First National Headache Symposium’ in Bombay, November 2000. He was awarded the prize for ‘The Best Platform Presentation’ at ‘The International Headache Congress - 2003’, held in Rome, where he spoke on 'Barriers to the Care of Migraine in Developing Countries'.

He has vast experience in treating chronic headache patients and is now into exclusive 'HEADACHE' practice.
